Arabidopsis Information
The Arabidopsis Information Portal is an open-access online community resource for Arabidopsis
research. AIP enables biologists to navigate from the Arabidopsis thaliana Col-0 reference genome
sequence to its associated annotation including gene structure, gene expression, protein function,
and interaction networks. AIP was funded in 2013 and came on line in 2014. AIP already offers a
single interface through which to access a wide range of Arabidopsis information. AIP will grow
through contributions of other labs in the form of modules: data, computation, and visualization
tools.

Genome Resources
The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR) provides a comprehensive resource for the scientific community
working with Arabidopsis thaliana, a widely used model plant
TIGR's Genome Projects are a collection of curated databases containing DNA and protein sequence, gene
expression, cellular role, protein family, and taxonomic data for microbes, plants and humans
NCBI
NCBI creates public databases, conducts research in computational biology, develops software tools for
analyzing genome data, and disseminates biomedical information - all for the better understanding of
molecular processes affecting human health and disease
Prediction Resources
iTAK is a program to identify plant transcription factors (TFs), transcriptional regulators (TRs) and
protein kinases (PKs) from protein or nucleotide sequences and then classify individual TFs,
TRs and PKs into different gene families.
Seed Resources
The Nottingham Arabidopsis Stock Centre (NASC) provides seed and information resources to the International
Arabidopsis Genome Programme and the wider research community
ABRC
The mission of the ABRC is to acquire, preserve and distribute seed and DNA resources that are useful to the
Arabidopsis research community.
GARNet
GARNet is intended to function as a platform for international Arabidopsis research and for research on
other plant species.
